What's new in version 6.9.2

Playback speed of of video layers and audio tracks can now be changed by using the new playback speed slider in the Options sub section of Video Options or Audio Options in the sidebar.
Pressing the a-key while scrubbing in Timeline view adds a keyframe point to the animation speed curve of the selected layer. This is analogous to the o-key, which adds a keyframe point to the opacity curve of the selected layer.
When replacing the media file of a layer via the context menu, the green usage counter in the media browser is now updated correctly.
Using "Copy"/"Paste on Top" for layers in the Stage or Storyboard is now more reliable.
Restoring licenses in the Subscription Assistant is now more reliable, avoiding edge case scenarios with an endless spinner that won't let users enter their email address.
Various stability improvements.

I originally purchased this app for $49 in 2008 and used it once a year for an Annual General Meeting photo compilation. It was (and I'm sure still is) exceptionally good at what it does. But the idea of paying $7.99/month FOREVER for an app I might use once a year is ridiculous. Sorry, just no.

I really dont understand you guys who moan about paying for apps, any app. People have spent a lot of time and money developing them and they are only asking a pittance for all that work. No I am not a web developer. Grow up and pay your way. Bruce

Another one bits the dust. FotoMagico used to be the pinnacle of this app genre for me, until it went subscription only. Since I don't use subscription only apps, I will have to say goodbye to purchasing any new version 6 and up. I will be hunting down other apps and ways of accomplishing what this app does for me, for when Version 5 stops being usable. So long and farewell FotoMagico!
